Story

Tom is a disillusioned young woman. She has no plans for the future and hangs out in her neighbourhood, letting the hours drag with her mates. One day, a Japanese dancer enters her universe and turns her life upside down. Despite the language and cultural barriers, despite the differences in education and social status, Tom swears at all costs to conquer Sakura’s heart. Taking on the inhumane flaws in the judicial system, Tom must overcome insurmountable challenges in order for love and justice to triumph.

Genki, not at allis a dramatic film showing the story of a women couple of different nationalities as they fight to to obtain the same rights as any other couple; the right to love, the right to be accepted, to live together, to marry, the right to be mothers. Rights for which no one should have to fight.
